BRIEF HISTORY
Tsk.
Kaya second account ko na po ito, and I made it nung nag-venture ako sa scramble business 2 years ago; nung 2010, after nung P1 scam. Dahil dun, naisipan kong ipa-franchise yung skrambulan ko, under the name Iskrambol sa Liwayway. (dahil samin, pag sinabi mong Liwayway street, may scramble dun...at amin yun :D)
So far marami na ring franchisees.
COMPANY PROFILE
Iskrambol sa Liwayway (ISL) is a cold beverage retailer, particularly focuses on one popular street food, and that is, ice scrambles. ISL uses a system that is new to the beverage and food service industry to provide ice scrambles in a convenient and time-efficient way. Aside from offering beverage/dessert in cups, it also popularized the Scrambler, short for scramble in a tumbler, wherein for just 25php, the customer will get a tumbler full of ice scramble jam-packed with 14 kinds of toppings.
ISL offers its patrons the finest ice scrambles, with a variety of flavours ranging from the original classic pink, chocolate, mango, buko pandan, melon and even coffee. Aside from the flavours listed, customers can also order 2-in-1, that is, a mix of two flavours or even 3-in-1, as they wish.
Iskrambol sa Liwayway will focus on four markets:
The Merienda Seeker – people who are browsing for snacks anytime of the day
The Masa– people from all ages who can only afford inexpensive refreshments
The Daily Commuter- someone traveling to/from work, out shopping, delivering goods or services, or just out for a drive.
The Captive Consumer- someone who is in a restricted environment that does not allow convenient departure and return while searching for refreshments, or where refreshments stands are an integral part of the environment.
ISL will penetrate the above markets by installing food kiosks near schools, terminals, churches, roads and entrances of subdivisions.
Iskrambol sa Liwayway’s financial picture is quite promising. Since ISL is operating a cash business, the initial cost is significantly less than many start-ups these days. The process is inventory intensive and labor is not much of a trouble. Even students can enjoy selling this product because the business itself is very easy to manage. For the purpose of this pro-forma plan, the capital expenditures of ingredients and equipment are financed. There will be minimum inventory on hand so as to keep the product fresh and to take advantage of price drops, when and if they should occur; shelf life of the ingredients usually last for 90 days.
Iskrambol sa Liwayway is also offering negosyo packages of the same concept for a low as P2,500 to P70,000, depending on the inclusions. Included in the package are the customer’s own store name, equipment, inventory, recipe, marketing collaterals, training, uniform, and the food cart
